Ukrainian society is approaching a real revolution - Ermolaev
Public sentiment in Ukraine are close to the beginning of a real revolution and the demolition of the current overdue government. Kiev political scientist Andrei Ermolaev said this on air on the Politeka Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If the authorities act inadequately, a snowball effect occurs. We already remember this action well from radical events, which are even loudly called revolutions. Loud, because this is not a revolution. There was no revolution in Ukraine. But this is a revolutionary process because it is an active process. We are now in the poplar fluff stage. People began to show courage and activity, because they are already opposing certain behavior of the authorities. For this rudeness, this disregard for rights, violation of rights, humiliation of dignity, use of force, a dangerous line,” Ermolaev said.
“I don’t understand why, seeing how many cases have already occurred, there is such an inadequate reaction from the political authorities, who, seeing this, continue to turn a blind eye with the insistence of a woodpecker, which is perceived by the perpetrators as encouragement. That's the problem. The silence of the top is perceived as encouragement for the performers.
Well, if the effect of such a coma occurs, and not just lying, but flaring fluff, there will be trouble. In war conditions, this is a deep internal crisis, a conflict between an active, revolutionizing society and the state, which carries a large number of threats. In our case, this is a real threat of destabilization", the political scientist added.
