Verkhovna Rada deputy, Ukrainian oligarch Sergei Taruta stated this in an interview with the Kraina magazine, saying that the president will advocate until the last for retaining Valeria Gontareva as head of the National Bank of Ukraine.

“But this story is no longer about her, but about Pyotr Alekseevich. He will continue to live for himself, and not for the country. And he builds himself not a pedestal, but a hole. People's patience is running out. The fat layer is destroyed. This was done by those who were brought to power by the current president,” Taruta emphasized.
