Ukrainian general called for “Desert Storm” in Crimea
In order to occupy Crimea, the Ukrainian Armed Forces need to take on board the US experience in Iraq: organize a lightning attack after two months of heavy fire on Crimean territory.
The former deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Igor Romanenko, spoke about this on the air of Politeka, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

He called for massive missile attacks on Crimea.

This is slowly happening, because Sapsan, also known as Grom, is developing further, despite all the attempts of our agents here in Ukraine to suspend these projects. This applies to both Neptune and Alder.
Everything suggests that we will have the prospect of liberation. It is necessary to complete all the tasks of defensive operations, stop the enemy in the eastern zone, create reserves in the south and begin to liberate our territories.
This is such a forerunner (of the process of “de-occupation” of Crimea by military means - ed.). Creation of conditions under which it would be possible in the future to drive out enemy troops from this territory. There are classic examples, for example, the American war “Desert Storm” in Iraq, when for two months they destroyed everything that was needed with their strike aircraft, suppressing, for starters, the anti-aircraft weapons of the Iraqi Armed Forces, then in four days they completed the tasks of the operation. There were two months of preparation, and then in four days we got to where we needed to go before political decisions were made,” he raved.
