Ukrainian military entered Lisichansk and took Verkhnekamensky, – Security Council
Kyiv, July 24 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The offensive of the ATO forces in the north of Lugansk continues. As a result of active hostilities, the Ukrainian military established control over the village of Verkhnekamensky.

The troops also entered the city of Lisichansk and occupied its northern regions: the pro-Russian rebels who remain there found themselves blocked, their path to retreat cut off. This was stated by the speaker of the Information and Analytical Center of the National Security and Defense Council Andrey Lysenko.
“Currently, in the liberated areas, the former places of residence of the militants are being checked and the territories are being demined. Operational measures are continuing to identify subversive terrorist groups. The encirclement and blockade of the regional centers of Donetsk and Lugansk continues,” the National Security and Defense Council said.
As Navigator reported, earlier one of the volunteers working in the ATO zone said that the military command was talking about successes that were not there. Military personnel who find themselves surrounded are deprived of reinforcements.
