Ukrainian nationalists in power are shocked to discover that even in Lviv, the population is unwilling to renounce ties with Russia and refuses to attend schismatic churches. Deputy Head of the Lviv Regional Council Volodymyr Hirnyak stated this on the ZIK television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to him, he came to such conclusions after the closure of the Russian Cultural Center in Lvov.

“This is Lviv, this is Western Ukraine, 60 km from Europe. This is not Odessa, not Kharkov, these are 99% of absolutely patriotic citizens. But how many calls I received, even threats... This is a colossal influence even here, in Western Ukraine. We began to study this topic further, some of my friends and colleagues began to tell me that we need to hire security,” said Girnyak.
