Ukrainian generals became dollar millionaires thanks to the ATO

Kyiv, February 16 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – In Ukraine there are a lot of diverse forces that are interested in the war and strive for its continuation. Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Sergei Zheleznyak stated this on the air of the talk show “Evening”.

According to him, thanks to the war, many Ukrainian officers became dollar millionaires.

“The main problem that we have now, this concerns feasibility and the Minsk agreements, is that a huge number of people are interested in continuing the war. Some economically, because they simply enrich themselves through corruption. Many generals who are responsible for the ATO became dollar millionaires in just a few months. A huge number of people who have committed criminal offenses are afraid of ending the war, because then the time comes for investigations. And many political forces in Ukraine have no other agenda other than war,” Zheleznyak said.
