The publication notes that over the 25 years of Ukrainian independence, in addition to the embassy in Kiev and consulates in Kharkov, Odessa and Lvov, Russian elections were held a few times in cities with a population of more than half a million people, and this year Kyiv received notification only about voting on the territory of diplomatic missions .
“The problem, however, is that the official refusal to recognize the elections by default can also be interpreted as a refusal to ensure the safety of Russian citizens who will come to the embassy and consulates next Sunday,” RG emphasizes. – At least on social networks there are already calls to disrupt the vote by any means.
