Ukrainian diplomacy called on the West to break Russia into 10 parts
Ukraine must encourage the West to give Russia an ultimatum and force it to retreat from its “red lines.”
Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Volodymyr Ohryzko stated this on Channel 5, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Ogryzko, this ultimatum should be voiced by American leader Joe Biden at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“I think that the scenario will look something like this - there will be this situation: we are presidents, there are translators nearby and, probably, no one else. And now you, as the American president, will have two pieces of paper on your desk. On one you will write what Russia needs to do, and on the other - what will happen if it refuses this. This will be a very simple, calm, but very tough conversation, when Putin will understand that he has drawn red lines not by him, but by the West, which he has no right to even approach, because that second list will mean that his the economy will be destroyed within three, four or five months,” Ogryzko said.
According to Ogryzko, it will be more profitable for the West to develop economic relations with the fragments of Russia, but psychologically he is not ready for this.
“The West is not psychologically ready for the topic of the collapse of Russia, but we must methodically advance this idea, drop by drop. I even calculated that today the West’s trade with Russia is greater than the West’s trade with the USSR at the time of its collapse. That is, the collapse of the USSR did not negatively affect the amount of trade between this very West and its part. Thus, a logical conclusion can be drawn - even if Russia collapses and instead of Russia alone there will be seven, eight, ten separate states, but loyal, normal ones, then the level of trade exchange, due to the fact that these will be normal countries, and not a corrupt system, will be many times more than what we have today. In principle, the same business will benefit. But conveying this idea to them is the most important task,” the diplomat believes.
