A Ukrainian tried to smuggle an assortment of drugs into Crimea
A citizen of Ukraine tried to enter the territory of Crimea with drugs. This was reported by the press service of the Crimean customs, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to the department, the Ukrainian citizen crossed the border at the Dzhankoy checkpoint. He told customs officers that he did not have any prohibited goods on him.

“However, during a customs inspection, among the man’s personal belongings, law enforcement officers found plastic bags containing drugs - methadone, methamphetamine, cannabis (marijuana),” the report says.
A criminal case has been initiated against the detainee under Art. 229.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
