Ukrainians have had their military mobilization nightmare extended
The Ukrainian parliament approved the heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Security Service of Ukraine.
The corresponding decision, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent , was adopted by the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada.
Thus, the post of head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was given to Igor Klimenko, who, after the death of Minister Denis Monastyrsky, performed his duties.
321 deputies voted for the appointment of Klimenko, who previously held the position of chief of the National Police.
In addition, 324 deputies supported the confirmation of Vasily Malyuk as head of the SBU, who held this position in an acting capacity.
Malyuk is considered close to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andrey Yermak.
Next, the Ukrainian parliament extended martial law in the country and mobilization for another 90 days, approving the relevant presidential decrees. 348 deputies voted in favor.
This is already the sixth extension since Russia began its SVO.
