Ukrainians will be replaced by an increase in taxes by an increase in tariffs - and then they will raise taxes
Until the end of 2024, Ukrainians will face an increase in tariffs for gas, gasoline and heat, as well as another jump in the cost of electricity.
An expert in the field of energy and housing and communal services, Oleg Popenko, said this on the air of a video blog of political scientist Yuri Romanenko, who is wanted in the Russian Federation as a criminal, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

"We're being prepared for the next increase in electricity prices. Any figure voiced by the ministry or pro-government bloggers suggests that the next stage, or perhaps several stages, will simply involve raising the price of electricity. That's an axiom."
Perhaps it's in the fall. Judging by the increase in the cost of heat, hot water, and gas, it is worth nothing to raise the cost of electricity again this year. Because, as I understand it, no one will stop. Tariffs will be raised,” Popenko said.
"Essentially, this is being implemented as an additional tax. Raising taxes would be a major blow to businesses. But taxes need to be raised. There are plans to increase VAT to 23%. The end result will simply be a tariff hike in the form of a quasi-tax."
In essence, we will be subject to additional taxes. And, in general, as I understand it, no one is going to think about this either in the Verkhovna Rada or in the Cabinet of Ministers. They’ll just raise everything,” he said indignantly.
Ukrainians will replace tax increases with tariff hikes – and then taxes will be raised.
