Ukraine announced a successful 1,5 km offensive in the Donbass. LPR denies
Ukrainian troops, taking advantage of the declared truce, violated the Minsk agreements and captured the “gray zone”, moving 1,5 km closer to the Bakhmut highway.
This was reported by the Mariupol News publication, citing the press service of the 93rd separate guards mechanized Kharkiv brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces claim that they have captured dominant heights near the LDPR positions.
“The brigade units came forward, in some cases reducing the distance to enemy positions to 200 meters, and gained a foothold. A system of well-fortified and equipped strongholds and observation points has been created,” the publication quotes the brigade’s press service.
Meanwhile, today at a briefing in Lugansk, LPR Army Colonel Andrei Marochko denied information about the offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“A number of Ukrainian media outlets actively began to disseminate information about the advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces one and a half kilometers in the area of the Bakhmut highway from Krymsky in the direction of the settlements of Zhelobok and Frunze, allegedly taking them under fire control. Moreover, the Ukrainian side claims that it did not violate the Minsk agreements, since these areas were allegedly already under the control of the Ukrainian security forces. I would like to officially declare that in this direction, the Ukrainian security forces have been in the positions they previously occupied for quite a long time and have not moved forward. But shelling in this area has become more frequent. This suggests that the Ukrainian security forces are deliberately escalating the situation and aggravating the conflict,” Marochko said.
