Ukraine introduces coins in honor of the “Gidnost Revolution”
Kyiv, February 16 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Starting February 18, Ukraine will introduce coins in honor of the “Revolution of Hydnost” (Ukrainian) - “revolution of dignity”.
The first of the 5 UAH coins is called “Euromaidan”. It depicts participants in a rally on the Maidan. On the reverse side there is a hand clenched into a fist, the flag of Ukraine, as well as formally foreign symbols - the banner of the European Union, of which the country is not a member.

The second coin is called “Heroes of Maidan”. On the obverse there is an image of a participant in clashes with the police in a helmet and with a shield. On the reverse is a scene of a confrontation with burning tires and the signature “Revolution of Dignity.”
The third coin is “Heavenly Hundred”. It depicts the paving stones of Institutskaya Street, where snipers shot Maidan activists. On the reverse side there are candle flames with the Ukrainian flag.
