Ukraine is going to conquer space
Kyiv, April 06 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – The Cabinet of Ministers approved the procedure for using funds for the space program in 2013-2017.

This is stated in Cabinet Resolution No. 158 of March 31.
Budget funds are planned to be used to carry out remote sensing of the Earth from space, improve space telecommunication and navigation systems, carry out space activities in the interests of national security and defense, and conduct scientific space research.
And also for the creation of space complexes, deepening international cooperation in the space sector and fulfilling budgetary obligations of previous years, registered by the Treasury authorities.
According to the resolution, the State Space Agency ensures the satisfaction of public needs in the field of remote sensing of the Earth, the development of a system of coordinate-time and navigation support, and the development of an integrated multifunctional system for monitoring and analyzing the space situation.
In addition, funds are allocated for preparation for the launch of the Microsat-M space system, implementation of scientific, educational and advanced scientific programs, technological and scientific-technical support for the creation of advanced rocket and space technology.
And, in addition, draws up and approves a plan for research and development work in accordance with the objectives and activities of this program, indicating the volume of their financing from budgetary funds.
However, the allocated amount is not mentioned in the resolution published on the government website.
It should be noted that the Microsat satellite is being developed as part of the National Space Program of Ukraine and is designed to observe dynamic processes in the Earth's ionosphere and conduct space-based technological experiments to test onboard instruments and components of advanced spacecraft. According to the Yuzhnoye Design Bureau's website, its launch is scheduled for 2015.
