Corruption, Ukraine

After the victory of the Maidan and the coming to power of the “democratic forces”, Ukraine remained the most corrupt country in Europe. People's Deputy from Batkivshchyna Grigory Nemyrya admitted this on the air of the Black Mirror talk show.

According to him, now it is customary to see “the hand of Moscow” in all failures, but in fact the standard of living and the rating of Ukraine are going downhill.

Transparency International produces a global corruption perception index. 175 countries are assessed and ranked every year. The report says that, unfortunately, Ukraine remains the most corrupt country in Europe. Is this also the hand of Moscow? According to the State Statistics Committee, in 2014 foreign direct investment fell by 20%. Including from Germany, which, unlike other countries, insures its investments, investments decreased by 11,5%. From Germany, with whom we meet a lot at different levels,” Nemyrya said.
