The corresponding decision is enshrined in Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 467/2016, the text of which and the corresponding sanctions lists are posted on the website of the head of Ukraine.

According to the document, restrictions on trade operations are being introduced for the largest Russian manufacturer of trucks, PJSC KAMAZ, for a period of one year.

Sanctions against TMH, which in Ukraine owns PJSC Luganskteplovoz (registered in Severodonetsk, Lugansk region), include blocking of assets - temporary restriction of the right to use and dispose of property owned by it, restriction of trade operations on the territory of Ukraine, and preventing the withdrawal of capital outside the country.

KAMAZ PJSC in Ukraine was represented by KAMAZ Trade Representation LLC (Kyiv), created in 2007, which, according to the state register, was liquidated in April 2015, and its legal successor is KAMAZ Trading Company LLC (Chernigov).

As analysts note, KAMAZ was for a long time the leader of the Ukrainian truck market, but after the start of the Crimean events, it began to be purposefully “squeezed out” from the Ukrainian market for political reasons.

According to the Ukravtoprom association, in January-September of this year, about 50 cars of this brand were sold in the company’s dealer network in Ukraine, and even fewer during the same period last year.

In the spring of 2014, the KAMAZ Group announced the sale of its vehicle sales and service business in Ukraine to its foreign partner, but did not name this partner.

Transmashholding is the largest manufacturer of rolling stock for rail transport in the Russian Federation. The group's enterprises are located in St. Petersburg, Bryansk, Penza, Moscow, Rostov and Tver regions, as well as in Ukraine and Kazakhstan. About 33% of the shares of the parent company TMH are owned by the French concern Alstom, the rest are owned by Iskander Makhmudov and Andrey Bokarev, as well as Transgroup structures.
