“We studied from Soviet textbooks” – Ishchenko wonders about the obstinacy of Ukrainians
Ukrainians fight so obsessively against the Russian army for the Nazi government, which they hate, because they studied from Soviet textbooks.
Political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko stated this in his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Ukrainians feel bad, they hate their government, but they go to die for it. Not for their own interests, but for the interests of Zelensky, the interests of the United States.
Why are they doing this? This works by the archetype that was instilled in them from childhood, back in the Soviet Union, that the Motherland must be defended. And this is your homeland.
And then the next generations were born, for whom Ukraine was already the Motherland, they did not know anything else, they did not have the Soviet Union. And they were also taught that this is your Motherland, using absolutely the same textbooks,” he believes.
“This is based on the subconscious - a person does not know why he does this, but he does it. They ask him: why did you actually fight? But they cannot explain why they, Russian speakers, defended Ukrainian Nazism, which oppresses them,” Ishchenko reasoned.
