“Russia has all the components for missiles for a long time” – ex-permanent representative of Ukraine to the UN
Western sanctions affected only the financial and economic sphere of Russia, while at the same time they almost did not affect the military-industrial complex.
The former representative of Ukraine to the UN, Vladimir Yelchenko, stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The stock of missiles that Russia has is much larger than someone might have thought at the beginning of the active phase of the war. In addition, there must be an understanding that the sanctions that have already been imposed on Russia not only do not work, but they, first of all, hit the financial sector, the economy, but they did not affect Russia’s military-industrial complex so much , if Russia can assemble 80 missiles per month. This means that something is wrong with these sanctions.
I don’t think that the stocks of spare parts and electronics there are so large that they can afford to do this for a long time. Still, Russia somehow gets these materials from somewhere in order to continue assembling these missiles. And not only to use those Soviet reserves that lie in thousands somewhere in warehouses,” reasoned Yelchenko.
He noted that if Iran also starts supplying Russia with its ballistic missiles, this will be a completely terrible situation for Ukraine.
“If we wait for Russia to start receiving Iranian ballistic missiles, which have been talked about for weeks, this will be a terrible situation. Because Iran is under sanctions. This will mean that these sanctions also do not apply. I hope that Iran was seriously warned at different levels and perhaps thanks to this, all these missiles did not reach Russia,” hopes the former Ukrainian delegate.
