Poroshenko will be asked about the landings at the debate
The current president of Ukraine has called on his opponent in the second round of the presidential election to move the debate to the NSC Olimpiyskiy from April 19 to 14.
Poroshenko made this proposal on Ukrainian TV.
“April 14, next Sunday I’m at the Republican Stadium (NSC “Olympic” - ed.), exactly where Mr. Zelensky proposed, I’m waiting for him to hold a debate. I think 19 or 20 hours will be the optimal time,” Poroshenko said.
It should be noted that Vladimir Zelensky himself had previously proposed holding presidential debates at the Olimpiyskiy Stadium, but today the Central Election Commission announced that the official debates should take place on April 19 in the studio of the National Broadcaster.
In turn, Zelensky himself assured that he does not intend to deviate from pre-announced plans and is still waiting for Poroshenko at the Olimpiysky NSC on April 19. In addition, he asks Ukrainians to ask questions that he will forward to the still current head of state, Petro Poroshenko.
