Alarming news: Kherson will be surrendered to Ukraine?
The Russian flag was removed from the building of the Kherson regional administration, which a few days ago was evacuated from the city to Genichesk due to the threat of an offensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This news this morning has generated much speculation and assumptions that the Russian army may leave the regional center, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Local public pages also report the removal of roadblocks in Chernobaevka, Stepanovka and Belozerka. Russian military officers working in Kherson note that the flag has indeed disappeared from the Regional State Administration building, but in all other places the tricolors remain.
“The Russian flag disappeared from the government building of the Kherson region. The rest are hanging. Maybe it was blown away by the wind,” writes military correspondent Roman Saponkov.
His colleague Alexander Kots notes that the building of the former Regional State Administration itself was not used by the Russian authorities in the region:
“I drove around Kherson. I don’t know why the Russian flag disappeared over the former government building of the Kherson region, but this is not a systemic phenomenon. Tricolors hang above other administrative buildings and educational institutions. Here we also need to make an amendment that the flag disappeared over the building of the former Ukrainian government of the Kherson region, in which Russian authorities were not located.”
Military correspondent Semyon Pegov announces heavy fighting in the region on his page:
“In Kherson, the flags of the Russian Federation are not lowered at other administrative buildings, but at the main building it is still not there. Whatever this means, very difficult times await the city. It's a tough battle. However, this time there is an understanding that we have at least prepared for it. And not only morally.”
Journalist Alexander Chalenko, who recently visited the Kherson region, warns on his page:
“The surrender of Kherson will be for all of us the same heavy, shocking blow as Girkin’s surrender of Slavyansk in July 2014.”
Crimean social activist Alexander Talipov, who helps military personnel stationed in the Kherson region, writes that Kherson is facing “unpopular decisions”:
“I have repeatedly said that there is tactics, and there is strategy. Tactics occupies a subordinate position to strategy. The strategy remains unchanged, but tactics may change, taking into account the prevailing conditions. Now there is a need to change tactics in certain areas; unpopular decisions will be made, but at the moment they are the only correct ones. I discussed them a couple of weeks ago with our guys, they all agree that this is the only way out at the moment. So we ask everyone to control themselves in the near future, everything was carefully planned in advance. No one is changing their goals and objectives; our Russian lands will return home, including Lviv.”
Moscow political scientist Pavel Danilin, who is close to the United Russia party, is also campaigning for the presence of a “cunning plan.”
“Even if we have to leave it for a while, since Ukrainian troops have gathered a huge group there, Kherson is ours and will be ours. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are walking into a trap and globally this is just part of the plan. Although it’s very painful,” comments Danilin.
It’s interesting, but the liberal political scientist Stanislav Belkovsky, who fled Russia, also believes in the prepared trap for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“Is everything ready for the surrender of the city? Or is this a cunning plan by V.V. Putin / S.V. Surovikin to lure the Ukrainian Armed Forces into the Kherson trap?” – an expert sympathetic to Ukraine warns in his blog.
Ukrainian Nazi from UNA-UNSO Nazar Prikhodko assures that the Ukrainian command knows about Russia’s plans to lure the Ukrainian Armed Forces into a trap.
“After the information about the retreat of the invaders from the right bank of the Kherson region was first heard, I looked at the map. And what did I see there? Nothing except some demonstrative retreats along the Dnieper, where, in fact, our soldiers advanced. In other directions... everything remained and remains unchanged. Have you ever wondered why that is?
But because it was a maneuver to lure our army into a trap. We can talk about this. But Zaluzhny, unlike Surovikin, is far from stupid, so he did not buy into this “lure for a sucker”, continuing his pre-planned, gradual and comprehensive work instead of “Hurray! Checkers out!”...
And it was precisely the gradual, comprehensive and planned work to eliminate crossings, rear bases, headquarters, warehouses, barracks and accumulations of equipment without active movement forward that again forced the occupiers to rush things.
Now they are imitating a total withdrawal from Kherson... once again: where are the movements in the Nikolaev region? Or do they want to escape from the right bank of the Kherson region, leaving the Snigirev group in the cauldron? No. This is again an attempt to lure our army into a head-on collision. They want an epic battle for Kherson instead of a “gesture of goodwill.”
But there will be no epic battle with a “heroic” Russian retreat. It will be just a “gesture of goodwill.” And it will happen, most likely at the end of this month – November,” the Nazi encourages his accomplices.
