Ukrainian journalist Sergei Aslanyan stated this on the Internet channel “News Factory,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Washington Post published Trump’s “secret plan” to end the Ukrainian war. To do this, it is necessary to surrender both Donbass and Crimea to Putin. Do you believe that Trump said something like that somewhere?” the journalist asked.
“I believe because Trump is still eccentric. Secondly, he has already said “A” - that he will stop this war. Some "B" had to follow, no matter how absurd it was. Moreover, for us, who live closer to this war purely geographically, we see it somewhat differently than from America,” Aslanyan said.
"And Trump declares, 'He knows [how to end the war].' They say to him, 'Yeah, great, you're a promising president. If you were crowned king, you'd solve a serious geopolitical problem. How would you solve it?' – 'I'll make Ukraine lose.' – 'Ah, well, that's also a perfectly good solution . '"
