Tymoshenko said she would not give Putin a single meter of Ukrainian land
Kyiv, March 06 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Yulia Tymoshenko will not give Putin a single meter of Ukrainian land. The ex-prime minister stated this in an interview with the German magazine Stern.

“Russian aggression is dangerous not only for Crimea and Ukraine. This is a danger for all of Europe and the whole world. If Russian President Vladimir Putin seizes Crimea, there will be no more peace. After all, this would be a violation of all rules, treaties and international agreements. And they concern not only Ukraine,” she said.
“If we allow Russia to seize Crimea, this will be a threat not only to Ukraine, but to the entire democratic world,” Tymoshenko said.
“If our allies the US and UK support us, then Russia will automatically retreat. Then there will be no war,” she believes.
Tymoshenko believes that the population of Crimea does not want to join the Russian Federation.
“On the screens we see ordered demonstrations. Only two hundred people could gather for a rally to support Russia in Simferopol,” she assures.
“Putin wants the whole of Ukraine to come under Russian influence. And Putin will try as long as the world allows it. But we must not give him a single meter of Ukrainian land,” Tymoshenko concluded.
