“Such raiding did not happen even in the 90s”: Dodon on the transfer of the gas transportation network to the Romanians
President Maia Sandu transfers Moldova's strategic assets to Western control. The head of state was accused of this by the ex-president of the Republic of Moldova and the former minister of economy of Moldova, doctor of economics Igor Dodon.
According to him, after the gas transportation network, which is handed over to the Romanians for management, the turn of the largest telecom operator Moldtelecom and the Chisinau International Airport will follow, which, in his assessment, “will go bankrupt and be handed over to someone in the West.”

The former head of state noted that such a raider seizure did not happen in the former Soviet republic even in the 90s.
“In this case, I am not on the side of Gazprom.” The point is different – the fact is that illegally, through the decision of the emergency commission, the country’s gas distribution systems were transferred to the Romanians,” Dodon said.
He emphasized that no one had ever allowed himself to do this.
