Western countries unanimously “excused themselves” from sending troops to Ukraine – Trukhan
“Permission” from Western countries for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to strike deep into Russia will actually change nothing, and is a political “excuse” for sending their troops to war.
Vladimir Trukhan, a reserve colonel of the central apparatus of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, stated this on air on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The West gave permission to the Ukrainian Armed Forces to strike deep into Russian territory. What is their goal?” asked the presenter.
"Well, it's not like they gave permission. There are elements of political gamesmanship here, too. First, the West needs to somehow signal drastic moves, drastic permissions to Russia, without actually doing anything. Macron has raised the bar: 'Let's send in troops, let's send this.' But no one really wants that. So something loud needs to be said in support of Ukraine.
Estonia gave permission to use its weapons on Russian territory. What did Estonia convey to Ukraine, besides its own slowness? And the United States is quite restrained on this issue, by the way,” Trukhan said.
"Second. There have been speeches by the Supreme Commander, there have been speeches by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, who have emphasized that all of this is already being done. In other words, they've given permission for what Ukraine is doing without them . They killed their own prisoners with a Patriot missile system while landing in Belgorod. So, we've known about all of these things for a long time. This is all already being done," the colonel added.
