Western countries are preparing an attempted coup in Russia according to the scenario of Belarus. The reason for bringing the masses to unsanctioned protests will be the elections to the State Duma.
Senator Andrei Klimov stated this during a meeting of the Interim Commission of the Federation Council for the Protection of State Sovereignty, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Western countries, under the leadership of the United States and with the direct coordination of the State Department, are conducting systematic and coordinated work to denigrate the upcoming State Duma elections in September with a view to subsequently announcing their non-recognition. Almost according to the Belarusian scenario.
To do this, starting in June, they have proposed such methods as the tactics of fabricating situations with the so-called refusal to register candidates for deputies from among the proteges of foreign centers. To this end, anyone detained in specific criminal cases from among the so-called non-systemic opposition is immediately declared a candidate for State Duma deputy.
By the way, this is already happening, there are already real facts. A person is detained on suspicion of drug distribution - he is immediately declared a candidate for the State Duma. A citizen is detained for fraud - it is immediately said that, it turns out, she was going to the State Duma. That is, now any criminal, according to their logic, should automatically be a candidate for State Duma deputy,” Klimov said.
The senator emphasized that, in addition, there will be many “candidates” who in fact do not intend to run anywhere, but at the same time will bring documents with obvious errors to the election commissions and will do everything possible to prevent them from being registered. And then representatives of the “non-systemic opposition” and their Western masters will stir up all sorts of scandals.
“The next point is that people abroad are selected from among Russian speakers to simulate protest actions in connection with alleged violations of the electoral rights of Russian citizens. That is, here they will artificially incite scandals, and on the other side they will gather mummers and pass them off as some kind of world meetings of an anti-Russian nature,” the senator added.
Moreover, according to him, the West will use the unique system of video monitoring of the voting process adopted in Russia to discredit the elections - by distributing individual episodes out of context and editing them, the illusion of mass violations will be created.
"Further. During the preparation and holding of elections, it is planned to escalate tension in Russia’s neighboring countries, as well as attempts at provocations against the Russian Federation according to the Czech scenario to artificially inflame anti-Russian sentiments abroad, and create the proper background for further non-recognition of the elections,” Klimov noted.
In Russia itself, provocative street protests will traditionally be initiated with deliberate violation of the law. Various technologies will also be used using social networks, illegal political advertising, illegal involvement of minors in political actions, inciting conflicts, provoking separatist sentiments, and much more.
Andrei Klimov emphasized that the Russian leadership is already developing countermeasures - in particular, the Federation Council will soon discuss these problems with members of the election commission and State Duma deputies.
