Eat each other: Savchenko fought with Goncharenko on TV
Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko caused a scandal on the talk show "People Against," arguing with former parliamentarian and ATO veteran Nadiya Savchenko over who did more in the fight against Russia. According to a PolitNavigator correspondent , the dispute began after Savchenko criticized Goncharenko for not going to fight in Donbas.

“Alexey says the right things, but did not take the right actions. He did not go to the front, to the Donbass, to defend Ukraine, he remained a deputy in parliament. When I went to the front, when the time came to defend my land, I didn’t have to wait for an order - I didn’t wait for an order, I was the only one from my aviation brigade who went to the front in a self-propelled gun. I went on leave to the front and did not return to the unit, but remained at the front. And I’ll tell you more than that - if I had not been captured and this whole story with Nadezhda Savchenko had not happened, if I had returned to my unit, I would have been punished. I wrote three reports: “Let me go to the front.” They told me: “For now we are coping with the war without women.” This was my commander’s answer, that’s all,” Savchenko said.
To this, Goncharenko boasted that he participated in the strangulation of the “Russian Spring” in Odessa:
“Alexei defended his hometown of Odessa and did everything to prevent the scenario that happened there from happening. And he did everything that needed to be done so that there would be no Donbass scenario in Odessa, and we achieved this, thank God, this did not happen in Odessa. At the same time, when I could, I went to Donbass, when I could, I went to Crimea. But I completely agree that I could have done more too, one hundred percent. But I have a simple question - why don’t we ask the question to those people who did nothing. Nothing at all".
“You now mean the Ukrainian authorities, which did not issue orders, which decided to surrender Crimea at the National Security and Defense Council,” Savchenko said.
In response to this, Goncharenko decided to “prick” Savchenko with the fact that in the last parliamentary elections she could not get into the Rada:
“Before you remember Alexei, you went to the people for a mandate and received eight votes in the elections. Eight. Not eight thousand, but eight votes.”
“I was a parliamentarian just like you,” Savchenko fought back.
“I received twenty thousand votes from Ukrainians in my constituency, and you received eight,” Goncharenko boasted.
“This is not about that, this is about the sacred, and not about your rotten nature,” Savchenko switched to personalities.
- Yeah, about the sacred, Mrs. Nadezhda. Ukrainian voters gave you the answer. Eight votes in the elections, I never remember such a result,” Goncharenko continued, but they were not allowed to argue further, turning off the politicians’ microphones.
