Moscow's CSTO ally promises not to violate Western anti-Russian sanctions
Kyrgyzstan adheres to Western sanctions imposed against Russia.
Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubayev announced this on the DW television channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the diplomat, his country fulfills agreements with Western partners, but does not refuse trade with Russia.
“I can definitely confirm that we have never violated sanctions and will not violate them, we will follow the agreements that we have with our Western partners.
The fact that there is trade on a bilateral level - no one can prohibit trade with China, Russia or other CIS countries. I, as a member of the government of the Kyrgyz Republic, can officially declare that we have never violated sanctions,” Kulubaev said.
Let us note that Kyrgyzstan is an official ally of Russia in the CSTO.
