The real catastrophe in the Ukrainian economy will come after 2019, when Russia will complete the implementation of transport projects to bypass Ukraine, and Moscow will refuse transit through the former Soviet republic.
This was stated on the NewsOne TV channel by the ex-Minister of Transport of Ukraine Yevgeny Chervonenko, an ally of Viktor Yushchenko during the “Orange Revolution”.
According to him, after 2019, “proud and independent” Ukraine will lose almost $7,5 billion annually.

“In 2019, Ukraine will become free. In 2019, Russia will complete the construction of a railway bypassing Ukraine - minus 1,6 billion dollars, the Krasnodar-Kerch communication will be completed minus 1 billion dollars, an alternative transit ammonia pipeline will be completed - minus 1 billion dollars, the transit of gas pumping will end - minus 2 billion dollars, transit through seaports will completely stop - minus 1,7 billion dollars.
