More than 70% of tanks and self-propelled artillery in the Joint Forces Operation zone, supposedly taken to storage areas, are in poor technical condition.
This information was announced today at a briefing by the official representative of the operational command of the DPR, Eduard Basurin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Referring to intelligence data, Basurin said that in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as a result of a negligent attitude towards the operation and maintenance of military equipment, most of it is in a deplorable state.
“As a result of violations of operating procedures, lack of periodic maintenance and repair of tracked vehicles, including tanks and self-propelled artillery, the military law enforcement service is conducting investigations into 120 cases of dishonest performance of their duties and sabotage in the special conditions of the Joint Forces Operation by Ukrainian military personnel .
Servicemen of the 58th Motorized Infantry, 128th Mountain Assault, 92nd and 28th Mechanized Brigades, as well as the 36th Marine Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces especially distinguished themselves in this situation,” said Eduard Basurin.
