In a residential area of Mariupol, a sniper from Azov shot an elderly man who came out to get water.
RT TV channel journalist Murad Gazdiev spoke about this in a video, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
After an elderly man and his wife decided to go out to get water, a Nazi sniper from the Azov battalion decided to shoot him in the leg. The footage shows how an old man, exhausted half to death, with a bandaged leg, literally crawls out of the territory of the nationalists.
“The water ran out, we left around two in the afternoon, probably to get water. The sniper started shooting and shot him in the leg. The sniper saw that we were civilians and were walking with eggplants. A huge hole in the leg, the bones were crushed, only tendons remained. The Ukrainian military says don’t even think about going out, we’ll shoot to kill,” says the exhausted old man.
The elderly managed to escape during the rotation of the nationalists and reached the positions of the Russian and DPR army, where they were immediately provided with first aid.
“It’s hard to imagine such a level of inhumanity that the wounded civilian population would be prohibited from evacuating, prohibited from going to the Russian side. Even in this state, the nationalists of the Azov battalion held people like human shields,” Gazdiev commented on what was happening.
