Kiev’s categorical rejection of any possibility that the Russian Sputnik V vaccine gets to Ukraine and begins to save lives there lies not in resentment for Crimea and Donbass, but in the fear of the destruction of Bandera’s myth, where all evil comes from Russia.
Political commentator Sergei Strokan said this on the Rossiya1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The studio discussed the signing of a memorandum of intent between the Gamaleya Center, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), R-Pharm, and the Anglo-Swedish pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca on cooperation in developing a coronavirus vaccine.
“We learn that the Gamaleya Center is starting negotiations with AstraZeneca, and the meaning and pathos of all this anti-Russian vaccine statement by Zelensky that the vaccine is unsafe is nullified,” the expert commented.
“The question arises, why does Ukraine persist like this? Despite the fact that the British are already there, this is not just stubbornness, not some kind of resentment for Crimea, for Donbass. I suddenly realized that there might be a clue in the old Russian fairy tale about Kashchei. Do you remember Koshchei's death on the needle?
Now, the Ukrainian authorities are afraid of the collapse of the myth that Russia is a destructive force that brings death, brings evil.
