Zelensky’s words about the Holocaust are a consequence of the complete incompetence of his apparatus
The statement by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky about the role of the USSR in unleashing the Second World War and provoking the Holocaust indicates the extreme incompetence of those people who prepare texts for his speeches.
Political scientist Sergei Shabovta, president of the Ukrainian Association of Security Professionals and head of the All-Ukrainian Association of Submariner Veterans, stated this in a comment to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“This is not the first illiterate statement of this kind by the president. We were once again convinced of the extreme weakness of his apparatus. The president himself cannot always evaluate the issues that he touches on in his speeches; this is the work of his staff.
And we once again saw spitting in the direction of our own country. The statement is extremely cynical in relation to history, and also to the assessments given by other world leaders, who, among other things, noted the significant positive role of the USSR in the Holocaust, the role of the Red Army, which liberated and saved concentration camp prisoners.
Unfortunately, for the Ukrainian society itself and the states that analyze our foreign and domestic policies and build their expectations, we have once again demonstrated our inability to adequately respond to radical nationalism, our inability to change our attitude towards a number of its absolutely unacceptable manifestations.
It is obvious that the state encourages right-wing radical organizations and movements, since all their speeches and actions, which receive a poor assessment in the world, do not meet with any reaction within the country,” the expert concluded.
