Even Servants of the People are already openly admitting that the impoverishment of the Ukrainian population has reached a critical level.
Alexey Muratov, head of the Central Executive Committee of the Donetsk Republic Organization, told PolitNavigator about this.
“It is becoming less and less possible for Ukrainians to ensure a normal standard of living through legal means. This fact is already openly recognized at the highest government level. Thus, Prime Minister of Ukraine Alexey Goncharuk admitted in an interview that in order to pay interest on mortgages, citizens need to sell weapons or drugs.
The same recommendations will have to be used to pay for housing and communal services, the tariffs for which continue to rise. Already now, in a number of cases, accruals exceed the actual income of the population so much that it will clearly not be enough to take advantage of the proposal of the enterprising Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Servant of the People Yevgeny Bragar to “sell the dog to pay off debts,” Muratov said.
According to him, the post-Maidan authorities have led the people of Ukraine to critical impoverishment, and with Zelensky’s new team the situation is only getting worse.
“This was recently pointed out by representatives of the IMF and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, who tried to open the eyes of young ministers to the actual state of affairs.
However, they themselves have something to tell. Thus, the Minister of Education and Science Anna Novosad complained that she would not be able to feed her future children on a salary of 36 thousand hryvnia, which, by the way, is more than three times higher than the national average.

“It’s clear what decision we’re talking about. But ordinary Ukrainians do not have such a right to choose, so they have to fully feel the care of the “Servants of the People,” Muratov concluded.
