Seventy-five Ukrainian ships will be renamed in Bandera style
The Ukrainian leadership urgently needs to “decolonize” seventy-five ships whose names are associated with Russia.
The Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language in Ukraine, Taras Kremen, stated this on the Ukrainska Pravda TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We have the names of individual ships that are still victims of the colonial past. “I appealed to President Zelensky so that he, as the leader of the country, would review the names of individual district courts,” said the language ombudsman.
In his opinion, such courts cannot pass sentences in the name of the Ukrainian state.
“Some of them are still Lenin, Oktyabrsky, Ordzhonikidze, Suvorov, Moscow. We have seventy-five such names, and, for example, in my native Nikolaev there is a Leninsky district court.
I cannot imagine that a judge of the Lenin Court would proclaim certain decisions in the name of Ukraine. I hope that this insignificant but important component was taken into account by the President of Ukraine,” added Kremen.
