The SBU killed a participant in negotiations with the Russian Federation – he was suspected of “high treason”
Ukrainian security forces killed Denis Kireev, a member of the first Ukrainian delegation at earlier negotiations with Russia in Belarus.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Dubinsky announced this in his blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Kireev was shot dead by SBU officers during his arrest. He was suspected of treason. Kireev was considered the creature of Viktor Yanukovych’s comrade-in-arms, oligarch Andrei Klyuev, who fled to the Russian Federation.
“During detention by SBU officers, Denis Kireev, a member of the first Gomel delegation of Ukraine, was killed. Suspected of treason. Kireev is a man of the Klyuevs.
From 2006 to 2008, Denis Kireev worked at SCM Finance, where he held the position of Deputy General Director. Kireev’s next place of work was the Austrian company GROUP SLAV AG of the Klyuevs, located in Vienna.
At the same time, between 2006 and 2012, Denis Kireev was a member of the Supervisory Board of Ukreximbank. He held the position of First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Oschadbank under the Klyuev quota, from 2010 to 2014.
He was involved in the management of private funds, Private equity Fund and Fixed income Fund.
