Savchenko in court: LDNR are not terrorists
The DPR and LPR are not terrorist organizations, as the Ukrainian authorities claim. This was stated by Verkhovna Rada member Nadiya Savchenko, accused of plotting terrorist attacks, during a hearing in Kyiv's Shevchenkivskyi District Court, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to her, it is not terrorists who live in Donbass, but citizens of Ukraine, the same as in Kyiv.
“DPR and LPR are not terrorist organizations. This was not recognized by the Verkhovna Rada, and there is a decision of the Supreme Court on this matter. That's why you're speculating on wishful thinking.
If you want to somehow link what is happening in Ukraine and terrorism, and not to the war with Russia, which, in principle, is a fact that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine does not want to admit, then first bring the law to mind so that it meets your completed application.
There are no terrorist organizations of the LPR and DPR. This is the territory where people live, this is the occupied territory where people live under occupation. People, Ukrainians, our fellow countrymen,” Savchenko said.
