Russophobe Drozdov: Ukraine will not reach the end of the war marathon
The conflict in Ukraine has entered a marathon phase, turning into a war of attrition.
This opinion was expressed on air by the scandalous Lviv journalist and rabid Russophobe Ostap Drozdov on the First Western radio station, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Now, when the war enters a phase for a long time, when it enters a phase of professional confrontation of attrition, heroism, courage, valor, despair, courage, which are the peak manifestations of human nature, this becomes not enough. You can’t cover it up with this, it’s at the core, but it’s not enough,” said the Russophobe.
He added that in this situation it is not worth “demanding daily heroism from people, because this is an anomaly.”
“Heroism is one-time, you can’t live on heroism, because it’s exhausting. Therefore, this is already a conveyor belt thing, where the state and society must adjust from the highest manifestations of the human “I” to routine. But this must be realized, because sprinting - here we are world champions, we ran it at cosmic speed. But, in fact, the marathon is a different sport. In a marathon, sprinters don’t reach the end, no matter how much we want them to,” Drozdov said.
