“Russia cannot be defeated, it’s time to think about how to escape” - Kiev political scientist
It has already become absolutely clear to all parties that it will not be possible to defeat Russia in this war, and, therefore, the main task of Kyiv should be to preserve the state by refusing to join NATO.
The famous Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on air on the Politeka Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“In a situation where Russia could not be defeated, if the West begins to discuss the question “what if Putin wins,” if the key Western media say that it’s time to make a deal with Putin... the former US Secretary of Defense writes that if this continues, then Russia can defeat NATO too. NATO is a mess today.
And if Russia cannot be defeated, it cannot be defeated, then this means that Russia can win. Then what is our task for the war? If we cannot defeat Russia, then if I were a politician, I would propose the following thing: to save the country, to preserve the consensus of independence,” Karasev said.
The political scientist noted that in such conditions Ukraine will have to give up its aspirations to join NATO.
“Over the last decade they have tried to impose a NATO consensus, but we are such a country that we will not have a NATO consensus. Look how before the war the regions voted for joining NATO,” Karasev summed up.
