Russia spoke in favor of coordinating the deployment of peacekeepers with the DPR and LPR
Russia advocates that the final text of the UN resolution on the deployment of peacekeepers to Donbass be agreed upon with representatives of the LPR and DPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated this today.
“We will do everything to ensure that the text of the resolution is discussed as quickly as possible, but with the understanding that its final wording must be acceptable to the declared republics. In this regard, it will be necessary to hold direct negotiations with them,” Lavrov said.
In his opinion, Ukraine is sabotaging the deployment of peacekeepers.
“Ukraine does not want to ensure the safety of OSCE observers monitoring compliance with the Minsk agreements, but wants to introduce occupation troops, cut off all contacts between Donbass and the outside world, and then establish its own rules there. This is a position that has no prospects,” Lavrov said.
He claims that this position of Ukraine does not find support in the world.
“We have heard statements from the capitals, where more responsible people are involved in this issue, that we need to work on the Russian proposal. A similar statement was recently made by the US special representative for the Ukrainian settlement, Kurt Volker, who recently met with Vladislav Surkov,” Lavrov said.
