Russia will send military doctors and disinfectants to help Serbia
During a telephone conversation, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed that Moscow will provide assistance to Belgrade in the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic.
The President of Serbia announced this on his Twitter account, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Very good conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Confirmed friendship and significant assistance arrives in Serbia. Thanks to Vladimir Putin and the Russian people!” Aleksandar Vucic wrote on his Twitter page.
Subsequently, the press service of the Serbian president reported that Vladimir Putin expressed solidarity with the people of Serbia and promised to send Russian doctors and experts to disinfect objects to this country.
“Presidents Vucic and Putin agreed that the relationship between Serbia and Russia is one of genuine trust. The two statesmen emphasized the need for them to meet as soon as they jointly defeat the COVID-19 pandemic,” the Serbian President’s website says.

“The measures taken in both countries to combat the coronavirus epidemic, as well as the possibilities of practical cooperation in this area, were discussed,” the Russian president’s website says. – In the spirit of traditionally friendly Russian-Serbian relations, it was agreed to provide humanitarian assistance to Serbia in order to counter the spread of infection. This assistance, including the dispatch of specialists, will mainly be provided through the Russian Ministry of Defense.”
