Russia is circumventing sanctions, Ukraine cannot endlessly repel attacks, - ex-NATO ambassador to Moscow
Russia has learned to circumvent Western sanctions and produce the necessary weapons. Ukraine will not be able to hold the front line indefinitely and repel attacks by the Russian Armed Forces, so the United States needs to increase pressure.
Former NATO representative to Russia Harry Tabakh stated this on his video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“They (learned) to circumvent these sanctions too. And with oil, just like the Iranians. Firstly, sanctions, they are so toothless very often, and, secondly, the Russians, Iranians, they know how to bypass them and deceive them.
Well, you know, every time someone is arrested here because they send dual-use goods, some things, to Russia. They know how to get around it.
But yes, we must still push this, because it is impossible to count on the fact that the Ukrainians will be able to hold their lines indefinitely, repel attacks, and, even more so, go on a counter-offensive. But in Russia it’s an endless stream of manpower and scrap metal, they just throw their caps at them. So yes, we have to push it,” Tabakh said.
