As for Poland, which has set a goal to assemble the most powerful army in Europe within 10 years, Russian-Polish relations have always been, are and will be bad. But bad relations can be combined with good trade and mutual understanding and respect, like a strong enemy with a strong enemy.
“This does not mean at all that the Poles will go to fight for “great Ukraine.” I even met a Pole who professed Judaism. But I have never met a Pole who would like to die for Ukraine. It’s one thing to get it for free, it’s another thing to fight specifically for Volyn and Galicia. And the third thing is to fight for Avdeevka or Mariupol, which have never had the slightest connection to Poland and Polish history.
