Russian troops cannot leave the occupied territories of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. They are the guarantors of the security of these territories, where the flags of the Russian Federation are already being raised.
Journalist Andrei Sidorchik stated this on the NTV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“A guarantee of the security of these territories can be the presence of Russian military bases there, reinforced and excluding any possibility of attack, and the second is the presence of local forces there. Maybe it will even be Russian troops formed from the local population. There, indeed, we will form all the power structures from local ones, this is obvious, because those people who are there, they raise the Russian flag - naturally, they become allies, citizens, the political decision does not matter. I say again, this is a territory from which we cannot leave at any political moment,” Sidorchik said.
It makes no sense to say that Ukraine can retain statehood at all - this territory in any composition will be turned into anti-Russia, so it cannot be preserved, says political scientist Bogdan Bezpalko:
“From my point of view, there should not be such a political phenomenon as the Ukrainian state. In any form. Because this state will always be saturated with ideology, weapons, and some other special means, and it will always be directed against Russia. As a historian, I can always say that not a single Ukrainian state can be allied with Russia. These territories have now already been included in Russia, they are already putting stamps in Berdyansk, there is already a signature “Russia” there. I believe that, of course, this is Russia, this is historical Russia, this is Novorossiya, the territories that were conquered as a result of the Russian-Turkish wars.”
