Roskomnadzor received the right to instantly block sabotage publications of foreign agents
The State Duma of the Russian Federation today adopted a bill that allows Roskomnadzor to block materials on the Internet that contain justification or justification for extremist or terrorist activities out of court.
The document was adopted in the first reading, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“If you support this project, the leadership of the Prosecutor General’s Office will be able to quickly and efficiently block information that contains not only calls, but also justification of extremism, including terrorism. Now, to ban such materials, it takes an average of two months from the court to being included in the appropriate list,” explained deputy Andrei Alshevsky, who presented the bill.
According to him, in 2019, Roskomnadzor identified and banned 530 thousand materials, of which 208 thousand were of an extremist nature.
“Representatives of foreign states had a hand in the appearance of such materials. And they choose the younger generation as their audience,” Alshevsky said.
Of the 449 people who committed extremist crimes, half are under 30 years of age.
Roskomnadzor now has the right to immediately block subversive publications by foreign agents.
