Putin warned Poroshenko: Try to lift even a finger
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko was seriously frightened by the statement of Russian leader Vladimir Putin that Ukraine would lose its statehood in the event of aggressive actions against Donbass.
Alexander Zakharchenko stated this during a direct line with the Head of the DPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin never said that he would leave Donbass. He always said that any provocation would receive a worthy rebuff, and he would not allow genocide of the inhabitants of the Donetsk People's Republic. Now listen to his answer this time that any provocation that occurs on the territory of Donbass - if this provocation develops, Ukraine will lose its statehood. Ukraine may lose its statehood.
If the first answer was defense, that there would be no genocide, then here it was an offensive. It is clearly made clear here that even if you lift a finger, you will lose your country.
This is a unique answer, this is an answer not only to Ukraine, not only to those who want to strangle, tear apart and shoot our native land, it is also an answer to those who shout that “Putin surrendered Donbass”, “Russia betrayed the people of Donbass”. This is the answer to those people who sit on the couch and whine with defeatist sentiments. It's a punch on the nose.
Neither Russia, nor the President of the Russian Federation personally, nor the residents of Russia will ever surrender theirs. For all of us, this is another reason to be sure that we are not alone, and our huge, strong, mighty Motherland stands behind us. That’s why Poroshenko jumped off... to call Putin in China,” Zakharchenko said.
