Pushilin confirmed the goal of equalizing the standard of living in the LDPR with neighboring regions of the Russian Federation
The LDPR authorities continue to implement the task of raising the standard of living in Donbass to a level comparable to neighboring regions of the Russian Federation.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, announced this on the air of the Soloviev Live internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Changes are taking place in the economy of the DPR; debts to enterprises that were rumored have been paid - for example, the VTS group (now it is the South Mining and Metallurgical Company). Old debts are closed, and current salaries are paid on time.
Enterprises are being launched systematically, not without difficulties, because major repairs are being carried out; previously they were rarely carried out on time. Nevertheless, the development prospects are clear,” Pushilin said.
The head of the DPR confirmed that the promise “to raise the standard of living in the Donbass to the level of the border Russian regions remains in force; the development program for 2022-2024 has already been outlined and adopted.”
“Fortunately, we can already talk about cross-border cooperation. A single economic space with the LPR has already been practically created. It is absurd that there was customs between us, but when we came to the need to resolve this issue, we were faced with the fact that the DPR and LPR did not develop synchronously, we had serious differences in the tax and customs legislation, over seven years serious discrepancies appeared, we We’re leveling it all out,” concluded Pushilin.
