Pushilin explained how arrest officers brainwash Ukrainians
Statements by Ukrainian representatives about the need to rename states and other absurd statements are made only in order to divert public attention from pressing problems.
This was stated by the head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent , citing the regional leader's press service.

In fact, according to Pushilin, the Ukrainian population is busy with issues of survival, and not changing the name of the state.
“Ukrainian officials often make contradictory and absurd statements, especially with regard to the settlement of the civil conflict in Donbass. Either they are for peace, or they talk about the possibility of a forceful takeover of the DPR and LPR, or they talk about peace negotiations as “dead history.”
None of these statements can be taken seriously. I consider such loud statements to be one of the elements of political technologies applied to the population of Ukraine, concerned about issues of survival. Their goal is to lead people into a useless discussion and distract from real problems,” Pushilin said.
As a reminder, Oleksiy Arestovich, advisor to the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, previously proposed changing the name of the state, as well as its "historical destiny."
