Maidan activist's insight: Under Poroshenko, Ukraine has become much further from Europe than it was under Yanukovych
Ukraine today is further from Europe than it was during the time of Yanukovych. This was stated at the opening of the Banderstat festival by ex-people's deputy Oles Doniy, known for having received a concussion during clashes in the Verkhovna Rada over the Kharkov agreements.

According to Donia, failure is evidenced by the lack of a visa-free regime with the European Union, the lack of an application to join NATO and the postponement of the economic part of the association agreement - everything that Maidan fought against was adopted under the new “democratic” government.
“On many issues we are further today than during the regime we fought against. Or we slow down. For example, if we analyze the situation regarding Euro-Atlantic integration, we are now further from Europe,” Doniy said.
Earlier, Doniy said that under Poroshenko he was on the “black list” of Ukrainian TV channels.
It should be noted that some of the Maidan activists consider Doniy to be a traitor, since he, positioning himself as a Ukrainian nationalist, cooperated with the Party of Regions - he voted for the state budget in the Rada in exchange for the allocation of funds for the needs of his constituency.
