Passable Zubkov has become unpassable - media about the removal of ex-BYuT member from the elections
Simferopol, August 08 (Navigator, Evgeny Andreev) – The Court of Appeal of the Republic of Crimea removed Oleg Zubkov, a candidate for deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, owner of the Taigan safari park, from the election race.

According to him, the court hearing lasted three hours.
The lawsuit was initiated by Grigory Grudnitsky, a United Russia candidate. He claimed in court that his district competitor, Oleg Zubkov, was also a United Russia member and was ineligible to run for the Rodina party. The court was presented with a copy and original of the application to join United Russia, allegedly signed by Zubkov. Zubkov himself claims these documents are forgeries. The businessman requested an expert examination of their authenticity, but the court rejected the motion.
“If a person asks to schedule an examination, and he is confident that it will be positive, this would help to get to the truth. But, apparently, the judge had other tasks,” the removed candidate throws up his hands.
“He applied as expected. Another thing is that they didn’t want to part with him, they wanted to keep him in the party as a strong candidate. Because if Zubkov is not removed, he will win the elections,” a representative of the regional branch of United Russia commented on the situation to KT.
Thus, Oleg Zubkov became the sixth candidate from the Rodina party withdrawn from the September 14 elections. In addition to him, in Alushta, Yalta and Feodosia such passable candidates as, respectively, Mikhail Krasnenkov, ex-mayor of Yalta Alexey Boyarchuk and ex-Minister of Housing and Communal Services of Crimea Sergei Glebov were denied registration.
