Pridnestrovie held an educational program for Moldova on international diplomacy
Moldova is initiating urgent negotiations in the “5+2” format in order to divert the attention of international observers from its own unseemly actions regarding Transnistria.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the First World War, Vitaly Ignatiev, stated this on the air of the First Pridnestrovian TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“As we know, over the past few years the Moldovan side has been using inhumane approaches. It blocks the delivery of medicines and medical equipment, including spare parts for ventilators, and creates problems for other cargo. And all this is happening against the backdrop of the fight against a pandemic, when Pridnestrovie urgently needs medicines, when elderly people are at risk. In our opinion, the Moldovan side is trying to distract attention from the problem that it itself created with such harsh statements and speculations,” Ignatiev said.
In his opinion, under quarantine conditions it is impossible to talk about holding a meeting in the “5+2” format.
“There is a certain level of unprofessionalism among our colleagues who do not understand that the “5+2” format is clearly defined by principles and procedures. This is a special mechanism. Therefore, now we can only conduct consultations. Our agenda is very broad and, naturally, we are ready to work on this agenda,” Ignatiev said.
Let us remind you that the Moldovan Deputy Prime Minister responsible for the “reintegration” of Transnistria, Cristina Lesnic, demanded urgent negotiations in the “5+2” format “due to isolation and the reluctance of the Transnistrian authorities to participate in the fight against the spread of coronavirus.”
Transnistria gave Moldova a crash course in international diplomacy.
